[ BEHIND THE STUDIO ]
Shaela Templeton, Founder
As the founder and designer behind Sana Creative Studio, I work with a small number of clients at a time so every brand gets the attention it deserves. There is no template here. What works for a record label will not work for a coastal estate, and I would rather build the right thing than the familiar one.
Backed by a Bachelor of Design and Marketing and close to a decade in the industry, I have worked across music, property, development, real estate, fashion, beauty, wellness, fitness, hospitality, events and photography. Three of those years were spent inside Commonfolk Records with Ziggy Alberts, and two in fashion at Beginning Boutique, with the rest across agencies where the brief changed every week. That range means I understand the wants, the pressures and the pain points of very different industries, and it is where Sana's point of difference sits.
When I am not designing, I am usually in the ocean, out with my camera, or somewhere along the coast chasing good light. The Sunshine Coast is home and it shapes the work. Considered, warm, unhurried, a little sun bleached.
Sana lets me put the two things I love in the same place. Marketing and design. Strategy and the beautiful part. Great branding is never arbitrary, so every colour, typeface and decision is made with your story in mind, built to work as hard as it looks.
